TENNIS COURT HIRE
We have two tennis courts at our school that are available for public hire. All
proceeds from the court hire are directly invested in our school.
Court hire is managed on a voluntary basis by a parent from the school.
Hours
The courts are available for public bookings 5.30pm–10pm
weekdays, 8am–8pm weekends, and extended hours on school holidays.
Rates
Casual bookings cost $10/hr before 5pm, and $12/hr from
5pm (the higher rate in the evening is to cover the cost of lighting the courts).
Casual fees are paid when you collect the keys.
Players who take a permanent booking for a whole term
pay only $8/hr. Term fees are paid when you are invoiced (usually in the first fortnight
of a term).
Deposits
Casual hirers pay a $20 key deposit, refundable on return
of the court keys.
Permanent hirers pay a $50 fee deposit before their
first booking, refundable on cancellation of their booking, provided their account
is up to date
Keys
Keys are collected from the Tennis Coordinator before
each session and returned at the end of the session.
Court availability
It is generally easy to get a booking during the day
on the weekend, and on a Friday, Saturday or Sunday night. Monday to Thursday evenings
are often heavily booked with permanent players, but it is always worth calling
to see if there are spaces available.
While we try to respond to booking enquiries as soon
as possible, it is a good idea to ring at least 24 hours ahead of when you want
to play, if you can.
